Abyss Expedition - Roguelike

Draw equipment from a visible loot board, decide when to switch boards, then arrange and fuse a limited bag into a build for dungeon bosses.

Our take

Players who enjoy inventory arrangement and resource decisions during roguelike runs

Abyss Expedition may suit players who enjoy linking two decisions: how much more to spend on a loot board and which equipment deserves limited bag space. The board and bag make resource tradeoffs central to the run. Consider the monetization before playing: it includes ads and optional purchases with randomized items, whose full probabilities and spending boundaries were not tested.

Keep in mind: Contains randomized items and optional paid purchases; full draw probabilities and free/paid currency boundaries are unknown.

What you can do

  • Inspect remaining loot and choose another draw, a full-board reward or a board switch with in-game conditions/costs
  • Arrange and fuse equipment, combining effects, companions and skills
  • Bring a loadout into dungeon boss battles
  • Version 1.0.7 adds equipment-to-gem conversion with a random power and a buildable golem companion

Good for

  • Players who enjoy inventory arrangement and resource decisions during roguelike runs
  • Comparing a tempting draw with what the current build actually needs

Consider alternatives for

  • An ad-free or purchase-free experience by default
  • Guaranteed rare rewards or an independently verified probability model

Read what is left before taking another draw

The board displays remaining equipment. Drawing again, finishing the board for supplies and an upgrade choice, or paying the conditions to move on can each be sensible depending on the run. A rare item being present is not the same as a verified chance of receiving it on the next draw.

Turn equipment into a constrained build

Arrange and fuse the bag’s contents to combine equipment effects with companions and skills. The store’s 1.0.7 update adds a small gem carrying one random unique power from consumed equipment and a golem assembled from weapon, armor and rune. The important comparison is what helps the current build, not just the nominal rarity of an item.

Check the monetization and evidence

The current US listing is free and declares advertising, loot boxes and optional IAP. Remove Ads is $5.99; other listed examples range from $0.49 to $69.99. That range is neither a complete purchase catalogue nor a limit on repeat spending.

Official product page, US App Store version 1.0.7 and Google Play were checked November 7, 2026. The gallery uses official product composites showing a board, a bag and a boss encounter. No draw, probability, purchase or battle test was performed.

Limitations & considerations

  • Contains randomized items and optional paid purchases; full draw probabilities and free/paid currency boundaries are unknown.
  • Switching loot boards has conditions and costs, so a fresh board is not automatically an improvement.
  • The official rare-item video is one recorded result, not a guaranteed reward.
  • Account linking, cloud saves and online features require a connection according to the store.

Privacy & permissions

The current store explicitly describes online account-linking and cloud-save features. This is not presented as an entirely offline or local-only game.

The product includes ads and monetized optional items. We did not audit advertising SDKs, purchase flows or data handling; inspect the current platform declarations before linking an account.
