BilingualBoost: Learn Spanish
Rehearse everyday Spanish with listening, short conversations and practice linked to the ¡Hola! learning book.
Independent learners who want to rehearse ordinary Spanish situations with listening and text together
Shortlist BilingualBoost for guided Spanish practice around situations such as a café order or a phone message. Listen to a model, read the support and try a reply, then return to saved expressions. Start with the free activities and book sample before choosing a one-time unlock. The prepared material works without optional AI; generated practice needs a compatible device and remains fallible.
Before you choose: Requires iOS/iPadOS 26.1 or later, or a supported Apple silicon Mac with macOS 26.1 or later.

BilingualBoost: Learn Spanish

A greeting with listening and visible text

A simulated call for Spanish practice, not a real call

Practice choices and the optional Advanced Practice pack
Who it suits
- Independent learners who want to rehearse ordinary Spanish situations with listening and text together
- People who prefer optional one-time purchases over a subscription
When to choose something else
- Certified language-level assessment or automatic pronunciation scoring
- Assuming optional AI is available on every device that can install the app
Features & tradeoffs
Features below come from the linked provider documentation. The recommendations above are our editorial interpretation.
- Everyday conversation and listening activities with visible text and optional English support
- Saved expressions and short rehearsal activities to revisit useful language
- Read the ¡Hola! book and move between a page and related practice; first 19 pages are a free sample
- Prepared Tilo section guidance, plus optional on-device generated practice on eligible Apple Intelligence devices
Listen, respond, then try again
Pick one small everyday exchange. Hear its model and read the transcript or translation, then rehearse a response using your own circumstances. Saved expressions provide a reason to return later without replaying an entire activity. The app’s simulated call screens are practice scenes, not real calls.
Use prepared Tilo help for the section you are in. Optional generated replies can provide additional drafts on eligible hardware, but the authored lessons do not depend on them. Generated language still needs judgment; confident phrasing is not a language assessment.
Choose a component or the combined unlock
The free download includes a café starting point and the first 19 pages of the book. Advanced Practice and the full digital textbook are separate one-time purchases; Complete Course includes both. Review existing purchase eligibility before buying a bundle. The standalone book and web practice offered by the website are separate products and do not automatically unlock the app.
Editorial basis
This guide uses the official website, support and privacy information, plus US App Store version 6.5 and listed purchase amounts checked November 2, 2026. The privacy page discusses an earlier 6.0 release, while the store describes 6.5; the store controls current version and book scope. Images are official product screenshots. No pronunciation, learning-outcome or device compatibility test is claimed; no payment or positive coverage was promised.
Limitations & considerations
- Requires iOS/iPadOS 26.1 or later, or a supported Apple silicon Mac with macOS 26.1 or later.
- The interface supports English and Spanish. Selected listening uses synthesized voices, and some creative material was made with AI assistance.
- The app does not score pronunciation or certify a language level. The full free curriculum beyond the named samples has not been itemized here.
Documented features, attributed opinions and explicitly labeled hands-on observations are different kinds of evidence. We do not infer unmeasured performance or privacy guarantees.
Privacy & permissions
The provider says learning records and saved expressions stay in app storage, with no app account, advertising or tracking. System backups and user-chosen exports can retain separate copies.
Optional generated practice uses Apple’s on-device model when supported and enabled. Personal context is separately controlled. Optional Game Center sharing and Apple purchase verification are distinct from local learning records.
