Invoice Koi: Estimate Maker

Draft estimates, invoices and receipts on your phone, reuse saved clients and rates, and issue numbered documents with a paid plan.

Our take

Tradespeople preparing paperwork at the jobsite

Consider Invoice Koi for jobsite paperwork that starts offline and turns into an estimate or invoice. Drafting is free, but issuing new numbered documents requires a subscription. Compare subscription and optional payment-collection costs separately.

Keep in mind: No installed-device, PDF, tax calculation or payment-collection test was performed.

What you can do

  • Reuse saved clients and rates and turn an estimate into an invoice
  • Record time, expenses, deposits and partial payments
  • Create and share PDFs using the publisher’s document templates
  • Optionally use online receipt reading, voice drafts, backups and supported payment links

Good for

  • Tradespeople preparing paperwork at the jobsite
  • Small businesses comparing a phone-first invoicing workflow

Consider alternatives for

  • A free plan for issuing unlimited new numbered documents
  • Assuming payment collection, AI or backups work without internet

Keep drafting and issuing separate

Prepare clients, rates and draft documents before purchase. A paid entitlement is needed to issue a new numbered document. The current listing says existing records remain viewable and exportable after expiry; already issued invoices can be resent and outstanding payments recorded.

Current platforms and subscription scope

The current US listing provides iPhone and iPad support from iOS/iPadOS 16.4. This differs from the Android-only description in the original submission. The browser invoice generator is a separate website tool; its free access is not the mobile plan.

Limitations & considerations

  • No installed-device, PDF, tax calculation or payment-collection test was performed.
  • The original submission focused on Android; current iPhone/iPad 1.0.1 availability was checked separately. Android parity is not established.
  • Payment collection depends on supported countries, Stripe setup and applicable processing terms.

Privacy & permissions

The policy describes locally stored books and optional Supabase backup. Requested receipt reading and voice/AI features send selected input to online services; offline drafting does not imply offline AI.

The policy describes PostHog diagnostics/milestones and permission-dependent Meta measurement. The App Store declares tracking and linked purchases, identifiers and usage data.
