Love Widget: Live Couple Pics

Share photos and short lock-screen notes with a connected partner, track dates and optionally show distance using shared location.

Our take

Couples agreeing on a comfortable photo and note-sharing rhythm

Consider Love Widget for an agreed sharing routine with one partner. The optional distance display adds background location sharing; it is a separate choice from exchanging photos or notes.

Keep in mind: The submitted Android guide is not used as proof of iOS behavior. This profile uses the current iOS 1.6.0 listing and product policy.

What you can do

  • Share photos or short videos to a partner’s home-screen widget
  • Send a short note to the partner’s lock screen
  • Track time together and count down to selected dates
  • Optionally calculate distance from partners’ latest shared locations

Good for

  • Couples agreeing on a comfortable photo and note-sharing rhythm
  • A shared date counter with optional distance information

Consider alternatives for

  • Assuming partner content is entirely local or end-to-end encrypted
  • Enabling background location without understanding who sees it

Agree on what belongs on the screen

Choose a comfortable rhythm and decide which notes and pictures may be visible on a home or lock screen. Add location only if both people want the distance feature, and review its background permission separately from photo sharing.

Limitations & considerations

  • The submitted Android guide is not used as proof of iOS behavior. This profile uses the current iOS 1.6.0 listing and product policy.
  • Widget update timing, pairing, location accuracy and Premium access were not tested.
  • The older guide cites an Android data-safety encryption statement; the current product policy says encrypted network connections. These are not treated as interchangeable guarantees.

Privacy & permissions

The policy describes accounts, shared content and Firebase services. Optional Distance Widget location can update in the background and is shared with the connected partner; newer server updates replace older location records.

The store declares tracking identifiers, linked contact information and other content/identifier handling. Stopping location sharing and disconnecting a partner are separate from controlling ads or deleting an account.
