Ntfyx: AI Agent Notifications

Receive agent and script updates on your phone, answer supported questions, and follow task conversations with separate public and protected delivery paths.

Our take

Following long-running scripts or agent tasks from a phone

Consider Ntfyx for following a computer task away from the desk and returning a supported answer from the phone. Choose the topic type and integration deliberately: a notification, an authenticated answer and a completed external action are different events.

Keep in mind: No phone pairing, notification delivery, answer verification or integration test was performed.

What you can do

  • Receive agent/script progress and keep updates under a task conversation
  • Answer supported questions with a choice or text reply
  • Use a send-only HTTPS link for notifications from services
  • Optionally check a public endpoint hourly or follow selected notification sources

Good for

  • Following long-running scripts or agent tasks from a phone
  • Returning a supported decision while keeping the question in view

Consider alternatives for

  • Real-time incident response or proof that an external task completed
  • Assuming public topics, HTTPS push and protected agent content have identical privacy

Choose the delivery and answer path

Use a public topic only for content you intend to share. A send-only HTTPS link carries a secret key and cannot replace protected pairing for authenticated answers. The publisher describes verification and single-use claiming before a sending tool continues; we did not run that workflow.

Read the free allowance as a quota

The free plan remains available with daily and feature limits. Paid Plus and Pro plans increase them. Hourly monitoring is distinct from real-time monitoring, and a sent phone reply is not evidence that a deployment or other external action finished.

Limitations & considerations

  • No phone pairing, notification delivery, answer verification or integration test was performed.
  • The current iPhone listing is 1.8.7 and requires iOS 18.4; some website examples still cite earlier release snapshots. Android background push needs Google Play services per the publisher.
  • Native permission integration depends on host, agent, version and trust settings. A generic question reply does not establish support for every native approval prompt.

Privacy & permissions

The policy describes protected topic content and answers as end-to-end encrypted, while public topic names/messages are readable by the service and anyone with the link. New topics default to public according to the listing.

HTTPS push, webhook and monitor paths have service-readable input. Routing metadata, push tokens and purchase identifiers are processed; no account registration does not mean no personal data. Independent security review is not complete according to the notice.
