Explore Pictures with a Familiar Family Voice
Prepare a small picture game with grown-up recordings before playing together.
The short answer
Sofio turns a grown-up’s own names and clues into two picture-play modes. Start with one subject in the free Farm Animals or Vehicles world. Record before handing over the device, then explore together or listen to a clue and find the matching picture.
Prepare two kinds of recording
In the parent area, add a name and short fact for Explore, and a separate clue for Find It. Record in the family’s spoken language; the interface itself is English. There is no included narrator that completes this setup for you.
Keep the scope and recordings clear
Add more subjects gradually and use the parent controls for purchases and recording changes. Extra worlds are one-time purchases. Recordings remain on the device according to the provider, but device backups can retain older copies after an in-app deletion.
Limitations & considerations
- Farm Animals and Vehicles are included; the other available worlds are separate purchases.
- Fruits and Vegetables are coming-soon previews, not playable worlds in the reviewed version.
