The short answer

FitLifeBud may fit someone whose main difficulty is deciding what to cook for the coming week. It combines planning with shopping on its higher tiers rather than primarily asking for a daily food diary. Check the plan boundary: Basic should not be assumed to include the ingredient quantities and grocery list reserved for Pro/Premium.

Move from a weekly plan to a shopping trip

Enter the goal and foods to prefer or avoid, then review a planned week. The official descriptions position this as deciding what to eat in advance rather than logging everything afterward. Pro and Premium add ingredients, quantities and a grocery list that combines repeated items and groups them by aisle.

Regenerating replaces meals from tomorrow onward while retaining today’s plan, according to the store. Availability depends on the subscription. Check quantities and exclusions yourself before buying or preparing food; no dietary suitability test was performed.

Keep Basic, Pro and Premium separate

Downloading is free, but the app describes paid Basic, Pro and Premium subscriptions. Annual plans include a seven-day trial. The US IAP table contains Basic $5.99/$45.99, Pro $6.99/$54.99 and Premium $9.99/$79.99. Since every individual item title does not identify its duration, these should not be relabeled as monthly/annual pairs without the current purchase screen.

The website offers free printable sample plans and grocery lists separately. Those samples do not establish a permanently free personalized app plan, and Basic should not be presented as including Pro/Premium shopping features.

Limitations & considerations

  • Pro/Premium include ingredients, amounts and grocery lists; Basic is not described as providing the same scope.
  • The US IAP table lists Basic $5.99/$45.99, Pro $6.99/$54.99 and Premium $9.99/$79.99. Individual SKU titles do not state every billing period, so we do not assign periods by price alone.
