Smoke Tracker: Quit Smoking

Keep a smoke-free counter, savings, craving triggers and an SOS toolkit together, with optional Premium journals and deeper history.

Our take

People combining a daily quit record with prompts for handling a craving

Smoke Tracker is a practical candidate for someone who wants a private daily record and quick access to craving-management prompts in the same app. Judge it as a tracking and reflection tool. General recovery timelines and example percentages are not personal health measurements, and this guide does not establish a treatment effect or quit-success rate.

Keep in mind: Multiple lifetime and weekly/monthly/yearly entries appear in the US purchase list; eligibility, exact paywall and trial length are not established.

What you can do

  • Smoke-free counting, check-ins, streak history and estimated money saved
  • Craving SOS with breathing, distraction and urge-surfing timers plus trigger records
  • General recovery milestones, a growing garden and achievement prompts
  • Premium calendar insights, journals, habit records, medication/NRT records and extended weekly-review history

Good for

  • People combining a daily quit record with prompts for handling a craving
  • Reviewing patterns and savings without creating an app account

Consider alternatives for

  • Personal physiological measurements, diagnosis or a clinically validated treatment program
  • Assuming the lowest lifetime IAP entry is available to every buyer

Move from a craving to a useful record

The suggested workflow is to open SOS when a craving occurs, use a breathing/distraction/urge-surfing prompt if useful, then record the trigger and revisit the history. Counters and savings provide a record to inspect rather than proof of treatment efficacy. Accurate cost inputs matter for savings estimates.

Free access and multiple purchase entries

The website describes basic check-ins, milestones and tracking as free. Complete journals, deeper calendar/history tools and other extras require Premium. The current US listing includes $6.99 monthly, $29.99 yearly and $3.99 weekly entries, plus lifetime entries at $19.99, $29.99 and $39.99. Those entries do not establish what every user will see on the current paywall. A trial is mentioned without a verified duration.

Current iOS version 4.13.1 was released November 5 and requires iOS/iPadOS 17.6 or later. The new Home Screen widget and seasonal notices in its update notes are version-specific; future December challenge dates are not current completed events.

Read the privacy and health boundaries

The homepage’s blanket offline/no-tracking wording is broader than the detailed policy, which identifies optional analytics and subscription infrastructure. We retain the difference. Recovery cards and their cited research are publisher-provided general content, not personal measurements or an independent outcome study.

Official website, detailed privacy policy, US App Store and Google Play were checked November 7, 2026. The gallery contains official interface composites with example streaks, savings and health cards. No cessation, medication or device test was performed.

Limitations & considerations

  • Multiple lifetime and weekly/monthly/yearly entries appear in the US purchase list; eligibility, exact paywall and trial length are not established.
  • General health-recovery milestones and example improvement percentages do not measure an individual’s body or establish this app’s clinical effectiveness.
  • The homepage says no tracking/100% offline, but the detailed policy describes opt-in analytics and purchase processing.
  • Android is publicly listed, but its current version and feature parity were not verified.

Privacy & permissions

The detailed July 2026 policy says journals, cravings and tracking data stay on device. Optional analytics, off by default, use PostHog and Firebase; purchase access is processed through Apple/Google and RevenueCat.

Local health records do not mean the entire product never communicates with a server. The policy distinguishes anonymous product events and transaction information from the locally stored quit record.
