The short answer

There is no single yes/no definition of Duo-ready. An app may run, adapt to the wider display, or add pose-specific behavior. This tracker separates the evidence for each claim and keeps an announced enhancement distinct from an available release.

App readiness tracker

A developer release confirms an announcement, not our endorsement. Apple-featured is deliberately a different label. Unknown does not mean unsupported.

Why two sources can sound different

A usable wide layout and a promised enhancement are different claims. Outlook illustrates why a launch-day observation should not silently turn a later feature announcement into a released feature. For reported problems, we retain the article date and whether an app version was supplied; we do not label a product permanently broken.

Limits of this collection

  • This collection synthesizes official material, developer announcements and media observations. iApp4Me has not tested these apps on iPhone Duo; no artificial test score or performance ranking is assigned.
  • App updates, phased rollouts and regional availability can change the result. A media report without an app version remains a dated observation, not a permanent compatibility verdict.
  • Apple-featured, developer-released and independently observed are different evidence labels. An official showcase can include future features; a polished promotional image does not establish what every installed copy does.
  • All published images here are credited Apple press illustrations. They are not our device captures. Account, subscription and in-app purchase requirements remain separate from layout support.
