NetNewsWire suits working through an RSS reading queue. Reeder’s timeline-position model suits catching up across sources without treating every unread item as unfinished work. These are different reading preferences, not a faster-versus-slower result.

Paul Williams likes the new Reeder timeline but retains NetNewsWire for work RSS. Rui Carmo appreciates the interface without finding the unified inbox worth a subscription for his routine. Both accounts are from the 2024 launch and are labeled as historical workflow opinions.
